West Pitnacree Solar Farm

Introduction

Welcome to the project website for greentech’s proposal to develop a solar farm called West Pitnacree Solar Farm in Perthshire, located west of Alyth.

We will hold consultation events in March 2025 in Alyth as follows:

• Tuesday 11th March 2025 (2.30pm - 7.30pm) in Alyth Town Hall, Albert Street, PH11 8AX

• Thursday 27th March 2025 (2.30pm - 7.30pm) in Alyth Town Hall, Albert Street, PH11 8AX

A Proposal of Application Notice (PoAN) was submitted to Perth & Kinross Council in February 2025 to start a formal consultation process on our plans before a possible submission of a planning application, expected later in 2025. We have also recently submitted an EIA Screening Request to Perth & Kinross Council.

We expect the project to be 49.9MW, with solar panels set on frames in rows running east to west.
